Ms. Debra

Ms. Debra began touring all over the world at age 17. She toured New Zealand and Australia with students selected from all over the United States as a vocalist and flutist.
Before graduating from Liberty University with her B.A. in Music, she sang in the Chamber Choir, performed in “Oklahoma!” and in the opera “La Traviata”. She was awarded a full scholarship as a vocalist on The Sounds of Liberty, performed weekly on a nationally televised program, did concert tours throughout the USA, and provided recording studio vocals for companies.
Ms. Debra has 15 years of experience teaching music in school, privately, and in churches prior to joining the conservatory in 2019. Her piano students have achieved Superior ratings on their Sonata/Sonatina performances. Although classically trained, she provides the opportunity to learn the art of piano improvisation. Her vocal instruction seeks to expand vocal range, develop breathing techniques, and improve diction. She performs weekly as a keyboardist and vocalist at her church.
Her teaching motto: “Based on the gift each one has received, use it to serve others…” (1 Peter 4:10)
