Description
Violinists will learn portions of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and other classical Vivaldi, Bach, Beethoven, and Mozart pieces. All music will be happy, lively and fun! In addition to preparing for a performance on the last day, students will participate in music theory and composition games.
Camp Runs Monday, June 20th – Friday, June 24th. 9:00am – 12:00pm
Parents will get to enjoy a performance on Friday, June 24th.
Due to the cost of camp preparations, we are not able to offer refunds.
Learning Outcomes
Demonstrate Music Theory application
Demonstrate proficiency to sight-read music
Demonstrate proper bowing techniques.
Demonstrate proper hand and arm positions.
Experience the etiquette and seriousness of performing music in a group setting.
Identify the names of the open strings on the instrument.
Implement finger drills and techniques to strengthen dexterity
Implement proper practicing, posture, and hand positioning techniques
Socialization
Understand how to properly tune instrument.
Utilize ear training, etudes and solos to improve technicality and musicality
