The Emerald Coast Youth Band Presents: A Kids’ Christmas
Young musicians from all along the Emerald Coast are invited to come together to create brand new memories for the Christmas Season, led by our Founder and Director, Ms. Marlayna Goosby!
Description
A Kids’ Christmas, presented by the *NEW* Emerald Coast Youth Band through Grow Your Gift Conservatory of Music, is a short-term commitment inviting middle and high-school-aged musicians who know how to read music and currently play their instrument (any instrument!) with at least six months of experience.
The Christmas performance/rehearsal season runs for nine weeks, October 3rd – December 18th.
Rehearsals are on Mondays 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Conservatory. (No rehearsals on October 31st, November 21st, or December 5th)
Our musicians will tour the local area, delivering exciting Christmas performances for a variety of audiences in Okaloosa, Walton, and Santa Rosa counties. The tour schedule will soon be set.
The fee to join the Youth Band covers the cost of music scores and performance attire.
Scholarships are available.
