Clint Morgan serves as the Low Brass instructor at Grow Your Gift Conservatory of Music. These instruments include Trombone, Baritone, Euphonium, and Tuba.
Many of Mr. Morgan’s students have achieved success in area-wide band contests as well as solo and ensemble competitions.
Mr. Morgan has now been playing the trombone for 20 years. He attended Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas, where he studied trombone with Dr. Jeffrey Cottrell. As a student, he performed extensively in several major ensembles, including the Big Purple Marching Band, Jazz Ensemble, Orchestra, Low Brass Ensemble, Brass Quintet, and the First Baptist Church of Abilene Celebration Orchestra.
In 2011, he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. In the years since, Mr. Morgan has served as the Assistant Band Director at Craig Middle School in Abilene, TX, the Head Band Director at Baird ISD in Baird, TX, the Head Middle School Band Director at Merkel ISD in Merkel, TX, and as the orchestra conductor for several musical productions at the Historic Paramount Theatre in Abilene.
In 2017, Mr. Morgan and his wife Martha, who is the Conservatory’s strings instructor, moved to Crestview, Florida. Aside from teaching low brass, Mr. Morgan can also be spotted in several local performing ensembles, including the Downbeat Jazz Orchestra, Hashtag Swing, the North Okaloosa Community Band, and the Emerald Coast Community Band.
